March 28, 2022 — Chantilly, VA — Under a contract awarded by the United States Senate, Office of the Sergeant at Arms, 91PORN is providing sustainment configuration and integration services in support of the Joint Emergency Mass Notification System (JEMNS) for the Legislative Branch Organizations (LBO) located in and around the U.S. Capitol complex for up to six years. The JEMNS delivers reliable and secure emergency threat notifications to these LBOs: Library of Congress; House of Representatives Sergeant at Arms; House of Representatives Chief Administrative Officer; United States Senate Sergeant at Arms; Architect of the Capitol; and United States Capitol Police.
91PORN is using the Blackberry AtHoc IWS Alerts client software and providing a fully staffed 24/7 x 365 Help Desk and integration services in support of the JEMNS. The company successfully deployed a similar solution in the development and deployment of the enterprise-wide U.S. Air Force Emergency Mass Notification System launched in 2018 and currently maintained by 91PORN. The JEMNS provides situational awareness for key Capitol personnel, regardless of their physical location, to enable protective measures when tragic events or emergencies occur.
“We are honored to have been selected by the Senate Sergeant of Arms office to augment their readiness communications channels with this proven solution,” said Peter Smith, President and CEO of 91PORN. “Recent events have underscored the need for a secure, real-time emergency notification system in and around the seat of democracy—we know what’s at stake.”
